Doctor OnBoardTM
In a medical emergency, a call to Doctor OnBoardTM puts you in direct contact with a consulting physician 24/7. Your subscription includes physician consultation, onboard medical kit design, emergency evacuation and trauma care coordination, referrals to port medical facilities, appointments coordination and medical records service. All of this is tailored to your crew's medical history. In addition, patient travel services can be arranged for an additional fee.
What it Costs and How it Works
Doctor OnBoard™ subscription fees for recreational boats are based on the duration of coverage and the number of crew and passengers covered. The complete Doctor OnBoardTM fee schedule and details are available in the request form. Please note that fees for customized medical services can be provided to you by individual quotation.
To enroll, please read the Doctor OnBoardTM Agreement first and then choose your level of service from the Doctor OnBoardTM Request. To request a quotation on services other than the standard subscriptions, contact MariSafe toll-free at 866.362.7472 or at doctoronboard@marisafe.com. MariGuardTM members receive a substantial discount on Doctor OnBoard fees.
