Find a Medical Facility
To find a medical facility:
- Select a state/province.
- All facility types available in that state will appear in the facility type dropdown menu. Select a facility type.
- All cities with the facility type you selected will appear in the cities dropdown menu.
Select a city.
- A list of facilities matching your selection criteria will appear below. Click on the name of any facility for details.
Please note the following procedure for locating and contacting the closest appropriate hyperbaric (recompression) facility in an emergency:
First contact either the nearest US Coast Guard Station (see Find a US Coast Guard Station) or EMS unit and advise them of the emergency and then contact the Divers Alert Network (DAN) at Duke University at 1-919-684-8111 or 1-919-684-4326 (collect).
DAN will then contact the closest appropriate hyperbaric facility and the facility will then page the hyperbaric supervisor on call.
