A lightweight, data-rich, yet simple instrument, the
Tornado is designed for racing catamarans. It was developed in conjunction with
the French Tornado Olympic team to simplify compass readings for racing
tacticians. You sail according to true wind direction whatever your point of
sail: downwind or close-hauled. The figure in front of the lubberline is always
the true wind azimuth. No more calculations; all you do is read the wind axis!
